I promise to use my Kenwood every week for something new....
I have a liquidiser, a sausagemaker (great sausages, recipes soon) and a pasta maker (ditto).

So what are the Kenwoodettes going to create this week? Come on girls, put the knitting down and get those cook books out.

Oh! Me, me! Not that mine is even here yet but I'm going to be making cakes and buns and bread and buying all the attatchments I can find!

Can we see a pic of yours (and anyone else's) in action please n?

I have a Major - and I don't think I've used it since making birthday cakes in April Embarassed

It has to live on the windowsill as it's so large and it's too heavy for me to move from there easily Sad

I have a liquidiser and mincer.
Quantities just need to be so much to be mixed properly in the bowl that for 4/5 of us now there's no way I need can use it.
MUST make an effort

Does the Kenwoodettes need to be a section in the cooking bit so we can have threads and recipes in a more organised way? Mods.... what do you think?
I could see it being more use if there were threads for each recipe or technique.

The sausagemaker is good fun actually.
I would be happy to to a How-To on sausage making if anyone wants one....
and pasta is very kid-friendly, just like those early learning centre play-doh machines.... you can even make it coloured with tomato puree etc.

They do "real" ones and veggie ones too.

And we also get rusk and seasonings from them too. They have a forum !!!

The sausage maker comes as part of the mincer, and is very pha***c ! What is even more hysterical is rinsing the skins which come dry-salt packed, so they have to be soaked to get rid of the saltiness and then flushed through with running water like a hosepipe. You can imagine what THAT looks like!!!

I can remember going to work with my mums bf, when I was about 10 !! he worked at the Kenwood factory in Havant.

They were the bees knees as I remember every kitchen had to have one including my mums, hers was a blue and white one.

This weekend I shall be making some Baileys Ice cream for MrP with mine (well, a combination of Kenwood and Ice cream maker really Smile

) And then maybe next week, I shall make cupcakes Smile

I made this using my Kenwood mixer for my birthday in June Very Happy

(It was so yummy part of it was eaten before I could take a pic!)

I've made quite a few cakes using mine, I inherited it from my Nana last year - all the attachments are up in the attic at the moment though ready for the ove.
