Thank you!
LOL at GS, I did realise last night that one of the reasons I'm so fond of this pattern (apart from it being quick and easy) is that it reminds me very much of the pixie boots I wore to death back in the 80s But no, I don't think I'll be going for the full pixie outfit thank you very much No one needs to see mutton dressed as pixie

Ooh I adore that colour (rushes off to Getknitted to look. Like I need more sock yarn LOL)
I like red, in case anyone hadn't noticed _________________

That is such a lovely colour. Did you say it only takes one skein of yarn to make the Vogons? _________________ Hawkesley

Thanks! Yes, it only takes 50g to make a pair of Vogons. Which is useful with the Silkwood, because as each 50g skein is hand-dyed then even two in the same colourway can differ tremendously from each other! If you like your socks to be matching then Silkwood probably isn't for you for full-sized socks where you need 50g for each. But good for trainer socks where you can get a pair out of the one skein
Carola, it'll be the Woolly Workshop you'll need to rush off to, not Get Knitted _________________

Oh wow now don't those look lovely!
| Quote: | Oh freddled gruntbuggly,
Thy micturations are to me
As plurdled gabbleblotchits
On a lurgid bee.
Groop, I implore thee, my foonting turlingdromes
And hooptiously drangle me
With crinkly bindlewurdles,
Or I will rend thee in the gobberwarts with my blurglecruncheon,
See if I don't! |
And this apparently is only the third worst poetry in the galaxy......... _________________
