|
|
I have, for the first time ever in my knitting life, now got two pairs of socks on the go I usually make sure I finish one pair before I start another as if I dont, I know that the first pair will never get finished. However, as much as I love Anni's Falling in Love design and n's yarn with it, I hate toe up so much that I needed a break from them so cast on this little number to get my sock mojo flowing again
I am using Posh Yarn Emily in shade Sweetshop which reminds me of sweet shrimps and bananas in pick and mix (which I love ). I nearly used the PY Emily Tequila Sunrise that Anni sent to me recently but wanted to save that and find the perfect pattern. The pattern for this pair is the Nasturtium ankle socks from this blog http://throughtheloops.typepad.com/through_the_loops/ - free pattern on the sidebar. I'm using size 2.75mm pins though and am making the smaller size.
I love them and only started them yesterday I really like the heel flap pattern as well which is a sl 1, k1 then purl next row etc.

You do realise that you're at the top of a slippery slope don't you. Next thing you know you'll have 4 pairs of socks OTN, a shawl, two jumpers and a knitted bikini that you don't even want!!!!! , it's all down hill from here.
Lovely colours BTW, really pretty. _________________ Claire
