Embarassed Thanks everyone, i really love it and i really am proud of myself for finishing it and im sorry if that sounds bigheaded, it isn't meant to Embarassed
I can't believe it's only taken two weeks! It would have been even quicker if i'd managed to get some done every day but i had a couple of breaks.

I'm really looking forward to starting the MS3 shawl now that i know i can knit lace successfully Smile

Franney, of course you don't sound big-headed, and you should be rightly proud of yourself.

You should have heard the fuss I made when I made my first sock Laughing Laughing

I could make as much fuss as i like, Bloke doesn't care a hoot about my knitting except that it takes up too much room and i do it instead of housework Embarassed

You'll never guess what!

I finally blocked it!! Laughing Laughing

It's currently pinned out, but i think it should be dry by now, i didn't block it too harshly and it measures 55" across the top and 26" from the straight edge to the point Smile

Hopefully pics will follow when i get my arse in gear Laughing

It's nice to know i can do something when i put my mind to it Wink

Both thumbnails are clickable, the image quality is not that good though, the background is too light for the colour of the shawl i think Confused

Great job Franney, it looks fab!   Blocking is magic.

When you originally knit this, did you YY sockyarn or DK, and what size needles did you use?

Smile
