Will soap and water not help? It does with a lot of things and isn't too 'unfriendly' ??

I have a lot of Lavendar, Rosemary, Thyme and Sage. I lot the smell of them........nasty beetles!!!!! Sad

Don't panic Franney - they're Froghoppers not Lavender beetles. The grubs live in the spit and they do suck sap but - unless you've got loads - they won't do much harm. The blue beetle you saw was the adult hopping away.
