Well, the question I'm asking myself is can I get these done for May, making 3 pairs (I'm trying to catch up Laughing )

I'm keeping the foot free of the Jaywalker pattern as I wanted a smooth foot and I think it's working quite well. The yarn was dyed for me by Chrissy, literally just before she went on holiday last week. She made the stripes a little closer together as they're supposed to be for a child, but I've decided I want them. I know, I'm very bad. But who could resist, certainly not me especially after trying them on last night....and yes, I had already decided to make them my size hehe. I'm using Boye dpns in 2.25mm for the first time and I must say, I really like them. Nice and pointy and I haven't managed to bend them like I do my Brittanys and Clovers.

Better go and get dressed, the postman is due and hopefully he's bringing me some woolly goodies from The Yarn Yard and button. What's the betting he rings the doorbell as soon as I get in the shower Embarassed

Tracy

That sock is gorgeous, I've been so tempted by the harry potter yarns but have resisted, not seen it knitted up before, might be hard not to buy some now!

Thank you all, they are a bit of alright aren't they...you can see why they had to be mine and not youngest son's (who has bigger feet than me anyway!)

I managed to spare the postman any embarrassment by a whisker FatCat Embarassed It was a real quick sloosh this morning and I'd just dressed when he rang the bell. Had I made any decisions on which teeshirt or socks to wear, I would have been stuffed. Must sort myself out before posting photos in future:wink:

My goodies were all beautiful thank you, I am in sock yarn heaven angel8 So glad it all arrived before hubby did, mwahahahahaaa! I did admit to him casually last night that I'd joined two sock yarn clubs, (The Yarn Yard and BrightDyes) so yarn would be arriving on a regular basis again. I was given the slight smirk which comes with all my woolly purchases. Still...my habits could be worse Wink

Tracy
