OK, my daily update looks like this
That's one evening last night, two tea breaks and a lunch break at a course today and a swimming class worth!
DH's feet just seem so big compared to the diddy ones I've done for the children - but now I feel there is hope for a pair before the end of the month!

Excellent idea to do a daily update, might think about this myself.... that's a lovely sock you've got there.

Love the colourway you have chosen.
Know what you mean my dads socks are taking ages, I have since knitted 1 for me, a chunky jacket and 1/2 a back of a summer cardi. _________________ Fi, The Beach Babe |

OK here it is
I got cracking today - an hour's worth of knitting whilst watching DDs ballet & tap class and then a couple of hours of Dr Who, Joseph & Casualty. It's not easy knittin with a scared 4 yr old on your knee & she wriggled & clung to me every time she saw a scarcrow on Dr Who!
I'm on the home straight now for this pair - I'm about 4 rows into the toe now!

OOoo coming along nicely!
Thay haven't changed colour honest - just can't get it right with the flash tonight!
So sock one is complete apart from darning in the ends and the dreaded grafting - must track down my darning needle, but then I wouldn't have an excuse not to do it would I?
Sock 2 is a couple of rounds past the ribbing - enough for today, the sewing machine calls
