March socks have been a long time coming and I still havn't finished the first one. This is my progress so far.

Made with colinette jitterbug in the fruit colis shade, finding it lovely to work with, just a bit on the slippy side.

Hopefully I will get the second on finished in time

Cathie

Thanks both of you, I do like the colour its so vibrant without being OTT, looking forward to wearing them. My feet have been freezing when my jaywalkers are in the wash. Though don't tell my friend I had promised them to her, but my feet where so cold in the shop I had to pinch them as I don't actually own more than a few pairs. Going to make her another pair without the mistakes in,

I have found knitting these quite theraputic really and finding keeping things as normal as possible is helping me to stay focused. I think though I am at the stage where I have put it right out of my mind just to be able to keep going iykwim.

Sounds awful doesn't it,

Cathie

What shoe size are you Cathie, does it take a long time to knit a pair I suppose is what I'm asking? Smile

Hi,

I'm a size six and I tend to cast on for the larger size as my guage is always off, not 100% sure on the time it takes, as I tend to be doing bits of various things rather than just the one. I do know I can complete the foot of a sock in around 3-4 hours if I where to sit with it,

Cathie
