This is the old yarn.
The yarn's pattern changes according to the size of the skein, and the old skeins were bigger (diameter, I mean).
The colours are the same, but this blog (not mine) gives you an idea of how the new one knits (approximately).

I could probably make a more variegated one, but so much of it depends on the number of stitches etc, a few either way changes it quite a lot.

It looks lovely n, I have some bushcraft, destined for socks for my dearest, its just the thought of big foot socks putting me off!!!! I'd be hapy to stick to my size 3 indefinately Shocked

I must be lucky DH wears size 8 UK. Smile I ordered Bushcraft for a pair of socks for him after seeing it here. Smile

DH is only a 9, its just the thought cos his feet are so much bigger than mine!!!! Maybe I could make him a pair for his birthday in June Confused

I am decreasing for the toe on Sock One.
I'm going to take them on holiday... this is TRUE LOVE. I have a skein of deep violet shading to lilac yarn which I dyed for ME (a rare thing these days) which I really really want to make a start on.... symbolic holiday socks... you know, started on the first day sort of thing.
