The keyboard was the only clear space! The rest of the table was covered in today's paper, various parcels heading for the Post Office, my mug of Horlicks, and today's post.
I have 15cm of rib to do (per sock) and 11 cm done, so that's 4 cm to go (or 19cm if you're a pessimist).

It's looking lovely n - I may be ready for a progress pic of mine soon, it will be interesting to compare the "old" and "new" yarns.
I am thrilled with mine! _________________

That's looking great n. I've knitted Mr YA two pairs of socks. His feet are only a size bigger than mine so got no excuse really. My feet are huge enough. I've just been sobusy knitting socks for myself especially as some of the earlier ones Idid are starting to wear out. My 'Falling in Love' socks which i did in January in Natures Palette have this morning got 3 big holes on the soles . Too big to mend and got no yarn left anyway. I'm devastated as I love the pattern and the colour is a nice, fab bright pink. At least they're quick to knit. _________________ www.annisknittingblog.blogspot.com - My Blog

Seems to blend in nicely with the Bushcraft. What aren't you sure about?
Very brave knitting socks for the male species!! _________________

I was all for the green, but I also had a toffee coloured skein which I now think would have been better... but then I'm not wearing them.
72 stitches.... half way through the decreases for the heel.
I'm tempted to start the second sock and get to the same stage before I finish the feet.
