Here is what I am going to do about the scrolling problem which I can tell you I would find very annoying if it was happening to me:

At the moment we have "style override" set for the forum, which means whatever style you choose in your profile you will see the forum default which is the one with the portals on the left hand side.

I am going to switch that off tonight so when you log in tomorrow you will most likely see the original style (without the portals), called subSilver, which is most likely what you have set up in your profile.

If you joined very recently however you may still see the portals template.

If you have the scrolling problem then you may want to stick with the subSilver (or change to it), but if you want to have the portals, birthday list and the "View posts since last visit" features then you will need to change it to our custom template which is called myff_craftythreadsnyarns2 and will be in the list of styles to choose from.

You may of course choose any style you like, but myff_craftythreadsnyarns2 is the only one which is set up specially for us, and subSilver is the one it is based on.

If anyone is unsure about changing their style or isn't seeing what they expect to, PM me and I will help.

I am also going to look into if we can have the portals without the scrolling problem, but that may take a while.

I have switched off the style override so you are in charge of what you see. If you can't see the portals and want to go into your profile and select myff_craftyhreadsnyarns2 as your style.

If you are seeing the portals and don't want to change your style to subSilver - or indeed any other style you fancy!

I didn't have a problem so I just went to my profile and switched it back over, thankyou for giving us all the option though.
