Some people have remarked that since I added the portals - the panels on the left hand side - they have needed to scroll horizontally to see all of a post, which is not very satisfactory.

I would appreciate it if you would fill in the poll so we can decide what to do about it.

It seems to be linked to screen resolution - to find out what yours is if you have Windows go to the start menu (Bottom left green button), select the control panel from the right hand list and find "Display" in the icons in the subsequent window. Double click on it and then select the "Settings" tab in the next window. It will tell you the screen resolution on that page.

I'm afraid I don't know how to find it if you are using a Mac!

How do I find out what my screen resolution is Embarassed - then I can vote! As I said before though, scrolling doesn't inconvenience me in the least!

I run at 1280x1024 at home and at work, however I don't tend to run the browser full screen - so I end up scrolling. I usually have a number of browser windows open plus other stuff so it's easier to see what I'm doing if nothing is running full screen. Plus the fact it would look a bit too obvious running fullscreen at work Laughing

Given a choice I'd prefer the stuff in the sidebars to be either at top or bottom of forum window, it's very handy and helpful to have available though.
