Thank you all for your lovely comments Very Happy Here's progress so far ...



Am now on the foot part and has become much more straight forward as DD1 wants a plain foot, rather than the lacy one Crying or Very sad

Thanks, Gilraen ... I'm pleased with them but, even better, DD1 likes them! I've been giggling at the pic though - the whitish shadow at the cuff is my talcum 'ghost' ... I sprinkle it on my hands as I knit to stop sticky fingers Embarassed

I haven't used lifelines as yet, n ... but maybe I should??? This pattern hasn't been a problem so far as its only 2 different rows, repeated. Heading off to read how you make a lifeline Embarassed ...

I's honestly pretty straightforward to do, Kate. Not sure how it would have been to take the pattern down the foot, but DD1 just wants it plain Rolling Eyes
