Given that all my projects are going to be wee till I have the dreaded dissertation out of the way, I decided to try to learn a different technique with at least some of the challenge socks.

Have just done my first ever picot edging courtesy of Black Dog Knits's Flickering Flames sock pattern Very Happy For anyone else doing this pattern, I'd recommend using metal POINTY dpns when doing the picot bit (or maybe its just my tension tends to vere towards tight??)

Lovely, I love the picot edging did my feb pair with it and think is so much better than rib and a lot quicker as well
