No, it wasn't in an email. When you registered and submitted your details it would have been in a box at the bottom of the page.
If you log in again you should be able to find it - otherwise I can send it to you, but it will need editing with your own special id. _________________ Jacquie

I have approved you and your links should now be operational.
I still have quite a list of members in the queue that I can't approve because either you haven't added the ring code to your blog or because it has not been added correctly.
I have been sending emails periodically to those members to ask if they still want to be in the ring but rarely get answers. I am going to do one more mailshot and then delete anyone who doesn't reply. If you think you may be on this list then please check your spam or junk mail box as these kinds of things often end up there.
If you need assistance adding or editing your code please let me know and I'll be happy to help. _________________ Jacquie

Oooh I got one of those emails Jacquie - I deleted my blogring wotsit off my blog cos it wasn't working properly, and to be honest didn't have a clue how to fix it.... I'm going to try to join again. Hopefully I'll be a bit more successful this time round

You just need a blog and to be in this forum - so blog newbies are welcome _________________ Jacquie

I still can't get the blogring thingy into my sidebar - it doesn't matter where I put it, it just won't show up _________________ Melody's blog

Here is a quick tutorial on how to put your ring code on your Blogger blog (it's different for other types of blog though).
When you log into Ringsurf, at the bottom of your profile page there is a box containing a chunk of html - copy that.
Go to your template tab in your blog and click on "Page Elements"
Click on the "Add a Page Element" link in the sidebar area and find the option for HTML/Javascript.
Click on that and copy the ring code in there and click on save. _________________ Jacquie

Aha! That's why it was impossible... I had to upgrade my blogger account as I was STILL in the old HTML world of Blogger. Blogring added and put magically into the correct place in the sidebar *phew*
Thanks J
