Just grafted the toe on the first of my Monkey pair! Click to enlarge! Smile

I'll cast on for the second one later! It's knitted in CTH Green Mountain Madness, I've never used this yarn before and it is lovely...very similar to the Jitterbug. The pattern is really simple to follow but I think it looks so effective! Smile Hopefully I can get the second one finished before the 28th....only 10 days time!! Shocked You can't see the pattern too well in the pic and the yarn is probably a little dark...when I've finished the second one I'll take a pic wearing them so the pattern stretches out better! Smile

That looks lovely and really suits the pattern. I think I might try this one. Is it easy? Maybe for a first patterned pair?

I didn't think it was difficult at all...simple pattern instructions yo's, ssk's, k2tog's etc etc! The lace pattern has 11 rounds, three of those (the first one and the last two) are plain knit, and some of the rounds are just a mix of knit and purl with no increasing or decreasing. You get a chart AND the lace instructions written out. I did them on two circs and like I always do I used stitch markers to show me where the separate needles would be and it showed me where to do all my decreases for the gusset and toe! I'd say go for it...it's a really satisfying pattern! Smile I'm glad you don't all think it's too dark for the pattern....it's a lovely colour I just wasn't sure whether a lighter or plain yarn would have suited it better! Smile

I like this a lot! Beautifully done!

It's on my (ever-growing) list of patterns I'd like to try.
