yeah, OK, so I haven't quite finished the first pair yet, but I've had these on the go at the same time, just plain ones to work on whilst concentrating on the telly Just the one done so far, second is OTN. Made them a bit longer than usual to go under boots. Yarn is Opal Elemente shade 1079.

2nd pair?!! That's just not fair! I haven't finished my first Feb sock yet - and I'm very worried about how much yarn I've got left too I'm using CTH - I haven't finished the gusset decreases yet and I've only got 22g left (cuff-down sock). I'm going to cry if I don't have enough yarn! _________________ Sharon |

Wow, you're bombing along!
I love that Opal—It's the same type (different colourway) as my sister used on the the first pair of hand-knitted socks I owned. _________________ My Blog: Put a Sock in it |

.... and finished! Just in time too. The sharp-eyed amongst you will notice that the heels/feet don't match cos I had a break in the yarn on the heel of the second one, and I simply could not be bothered to rematch the stripes Still, I love 'em and that's what counts

Lovely socks, wouldn't have noticed the mis matched stripes if you hadn't said anything
