Here's my effort. The pattern is SKS "Yarn over Cable". It's my first real attempt at a toe-up sock, and I'm trying out 2 circs to boot!
I'm actually further along with it than this, but I've knitted the heel and ripped it out twice already. The first time was because the foot was too short, and I had to lengthen it. The second time was because the short-row heel looked just awful, so I'm substituting a different way of doing the s-r this time, and I'm about halfway through.
Third time lucky, eh?

Your socks are looking fab! I love how your Kool-Aid dyed yarn turned out. Such lovely colours. I'm looking forward to seeing a photo of the completed socks. _________________ Hawkesley

Thanks, everyone!
Piglottie and Gilraen: The yarn is Bare Sock Yarn from Knit Picks that I dyed with Raspberry Lemonade Kool-Aid. It's really nice to knit with.
Blueadt: This pattern is definitely easier to do with 2 circs, but they're jolly slippy and taking a bit of getting used to. I'm hoping I'll speed up with practice.... _________________ My Blog: Put a Sock in it |
