I had a lovely time last time round and won some more of Debs lovely stash Would be more than happy to donate something and even happier to bid on lots It was a lovely way to raise funds for a really worthwhile cause and have knittery fun at the same time.

Ali, what a great idea. I won some beautiful stitchmarkers last time, I was away at Colinette when the auction took place so missed the bidding war but had put a reserve on Knitangel's beautiful stitchmarkers. I'm definitely in for this. I THINK I'm right in saying all the money last time went to Action Aid but what a great way to support Race for Life or whoever we support. _________________

Can you bid but not donate?
I have been racking my brains for the last day trying to think what I could donate, but I haven't got anything that anyone would want to buy, apart from a ball of sock wool and some ancient knitting books.
I haven't got a stash at the moment, just the stuff I am working on
I could buy something to donate though. Or just bid?? |

It wasn't my idea so may be speaking out of turn, but I reckon it'd be fine to just bid - it's just a way of re-distributing stash with a bit of extra fun and a good cause added! If you have no stash to re-distribute then it's just fine that you take some away from us!!!!! _________________ Claire

Last time I didn't donate - I joined the forum in time to bid but was too late to donate. The way I see it is that both are equally important, no good having donations without bidders and vice versa! It's all about raising money anyway. _________________
