I think my posting on the old forum was after the backup was taken so I'll start again Very Happy

I cast these on yesterday with some CTH I've had in my stash for a while - I got it in a secret pal swap. I haven't been confident enough to use it until now. I'm not sure the pattern I've picked really stands out that well with this yarn - it's Arrow, page 56 of SKS - but I'm not mad on knitting loads of stocking stitch and I fancied doing something a bit more adventurous.

ARGHHH - and I would post a photo but I just went to put it up on myblog to find that the service is unavailable at the moment. Mad

I'm with you, i hate doing SS too, i'd much rather have a nice pattern to keep me interested (very short attention span)
I like the arrow pattern, what colour are you using? I can't see it not showing up well unless it's very dark or very variegated - pics are needed Wink

Hmm - it is a very dark yarn and a bit variegated but nevermind! I'll upload a pic when I get home so you can see it. I think it might look better when I've done another repeat. Anyway - I've started it now so I'll probably keep at it! Very Happy

Thanks! I've almost done another repeat tonight (16 rows). Managed to make a mistake but decided to fudge it (I had an extra stitch - oops) as I can't face frogging it back! It seems to knit up quite quickly. Hope I manage to finish these within the month - I often knit in the car (OH & I take it in turns to drive to work) but this pattern is to complicated for that -too many SSKs, K2Togs etc!
