I bought this issue in the shops yesterday, shawl pins thankfully intact! I rather like them, and they should come in useful for things like the jacket in Nomad I'll be making this winter
I've also just resubscribed to SK, caved in when I saw the Mili bag offer Easily bribed with knitting accessories! They do still do a basic offer for subs without the gifts, but the extra is still a lot less than the bag would cost, if that makes sense .... _________________

I'm always up for a free Mili bag but I'm subscribing already - I like it for the articles about new yarns and what's happening as much as anything. It's usually got something of interest too - did it have the Rowan Colourscape pattern this month or was that Knit Today? admits to being a knitting magazine tart It is a nice pattern for a gilet anyway from the new book _________________ Ali xxx |

I like the colourway too, that's a gorgeous pattern. How many skeins does it take? I have 4 that were intended for the Skye wrap _________________

4 for a 36-8" (actual = 41") same for the next size down which is 37.5" finished There's a nice jacket in the mag as well actually (why I bought it) which is a wrap in cream Artesano Aran with a biggish collar but the guage is 18st so you could use any aran. _________________ Ali xxx |

Thanks ali, might have to get the mag - not one I normally buy as I found the early issues rather uninspiring. Sounds worth it for the patterns though _________________
