I am almost finished a Lopi zip up cardigan for my GS but this is for his birthday , 3 days before Thingmas But I am planning on knitting 2 Mrs Claus and 3 Santa's (Jean Greenhowe patterns) so I thought I would start when I've finished the cardigan
Was wondering if anyone else has started, or how long your lists of 'to be knitted' are

I've only done the thinking part Janice
OK, some buying too
I've got some swap things to make too, and 2 large items OTN that need to be done ASAP Before I think of anything else.
Perhaps I'll have a change and buy prezzies this year - after all, how many scarves and shawls can a non-knitter wear?
Still glad it's a small family when it comes to Thingmas though.

Because of my prolonged recovery period and the possibility of further surgery I am planning to knit some christmas presents after all have to have something to do!
... have started on a jacket for GS3 and planning jackets/cardigans for GS1&2 and for GD and step-GD.
Will see how that goes if I have time perhaps scarf/shawl for my sister and neice.
All in the planning stages at present. _________________ Gillian

I have bought a skein of Wollmeise to make a baby cardi as part of my niece's Christmas present (spoilt baby!)
But apart from that I don really plan to knit any presents this year
That might change though |

I am knitting facecloths for my sisters and mum to give them with some fancy soap, and I will probably make a cowl or scarflet for my mum as she suffers from arthritis and it is worse when her neck is cold.
I also intend to knit DH a jumper but haven't sorted out a pattern yet. I really ought to get my act together with respect to that. _________________ Anne |

I did the turtle cushion for my son, it is hidden away. I have a hat OTN for my mum and will do a matching scarf. Will be doing hats for my daughter and her friend and maybe a cardigan. I also need to get cracking on hats for the shoe box appeal, they go off in November _________________ Liz |

Oh Janice behave yourself! Of course I haven't started yet
I refuse to have anything to do with Christmas until December - Christmas baking aside - which of course can make life very difficult _________________

Yep, i started in May
I have two Baktus scarves finished so far and am halfway through a domino knitted scarf
I might make some fingerless mitts too.
This year i have decided not to wrap up individual presents for everyone but put them all in a basket and let people choose
Not sure how successful it will be though
