Isn't it pretty!
The problem is that it says the XXXL size has a bust measurement of 70cm - well, actually i think it's just under the bust as the bust is formed from the cabled yoke...
I have a much larger measurement than 70cm, mine's closer to 100!!
However, the XXXL neck measurement says 27cm and if i'm reading it right this is just the measurement across the back of the neck, not the circumference of the neck?? My back of neck measurement is closer to 21cm which is the 3rd one so is a large...
Does anyone know if it'd be possible for me to fudge it to get it to work for me? It's knitted side to side with what i think are short rows for the shaping

Ah no Fran - that's half the finished measurement under the yoke, so the largest size would measure 55" when completed. _________________ Melody's blog

Have you looked on Rav Franney?
If someone has already made it, they might be able to give you some insight into the sizing. Also, it looks as though the 70cm is the width across, not around
That does, however, make the neck quite loose
It's like a short sleeved version of the Sirdar Eco wool one - it is pretty.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! YAY!! Thankyouthankyouthankyou!! {{hugs}}
I can do the Large size and that should work out right!
::doing a happy dance up the ladder to the loftstash::
I had looked on Rav but nobody has any notes on any of their projects but i knew if i asked here that you'd be able to help cos you're all so much cleverer than me! (and have knitted "proper" garments too)
Watch this space, i'm casting on this afternoon!! _________________

Poo! I have no 8mm circular needles!
Guess i'll be casting on next week when the needles i am about to order turn up then...
Ten minutes later: Found a Pony circular lurking behind the sofa, i think it came from the Knitting Parlour goodie bags - remember them Joy?
Going to try knitting with it and will probably be ordering KnitPro tips as well just because i love them _________________

What yarn did you find in the loftstash Franney?
I find it so difficult to tell sub weights from a drops pattern!!

Well, Rav says that Eskimo is a Super Bulky so i'm going to try swatching my RYC Soft Tweed and see how that measures up cos Rav says that it is also a Super Bulky. We shall see! _________________

Gosh - that's extra chunky then - it says 11 sts & 15 rows per 10cm square.
My Click chunky is 14 sts & 19 rows per 10cm.
And I've got a lot of it _________________
