I will be watching with interest - currently my crochet skills extend to a simple edging around a hat but I'm getting much more interested in learning it properly I've bought the first two issues of Inside Crochet as they have some very nice projects in there. There a little shrug/cardi in issue 2 that I would like to have a go at, and the cover top is really nice too.

i am totally amazed that i have finished mine already. i have done the smallest size, i know there is more than likely a few mistakes but it does look good. fits DD2 lovely. i didnt do any sleeves on mine as i loved the effect of the little capped sleeves that you got at the chain 10 for underarms.
will get a pic up sometime tomorrow. _________________

its really quite an easy pattern, as long as you know how to do a treble crochet and half treble crochet. _________________

I love yours Deb - I've just seen it in the LWIM section - fab!!
Does the yarn need to be pressable? Or will an acrylic mix be okay? I have some navy Country Style I could use to practise with
Or some pure cotton....

Debs, i'm pretty sure acrylic will be fine (I do tend to use it quite a lot and had no probs so far).
I've found some of this so i'm going to give it a whirl
