I will be watching with interest - currently my crochet skills extend to a simple edging around a hat but I'm getting much more interested in learning it properly  Very Happy I've bought the first two issues of Inside Crochet as they have some very nice projects in there. There a little shrug/cardi in issue 2 that I would like to have a go at, and the cover top is really nice too.

i am totally amazed that i have finished mine already. i have done the smallest size, i know there is more than likely a few mistakes but it does look good. fits DD2 lovely. i didnt do any sleeves on mine as i loved the effect of the little capped sleeves that you got at the chain 10 for underarms.
will get a pic up sometime tomorrow.

its really quite an easy pattern, as long as you know how to do a treble crochet and half treble crochet.

I love yours Deb - I've just seen it in the LWIM section - fab!!

Does the yarn need to be pressable? Or will an acrylic mix be okay? I have some navy Country Style I could use to practise with  Confused

Or some pure cotton....

Question

Debs, i'm pretty sure acrylic will be fine (I do tend to use it quite a lot and had no probs so far).
I've found some of this so i'm going to give it a whirl Very Happy
