Well, we are half way through the auction, and I'd like to thank everyone who has bid so far. I am just bumping up the thread if that's ok, just in case anyone has missed it.

Thank you Very Happy

He has a personality all of his own does this bear! He is sitting on the spare bed upstairs, and every time we walk past the bedroom door he wears a different expression!

Mr A asked could he bid on Monday  Laughing

Maybe he's winking at Mr A to encourage him to keep him!! but I know exactly what you mean about the expressions changing (even though they can't)  I have several in the house at the same time and Im sure they are up to mischief  Laughing

It also tugs at my heart when I leave them at the shop  Sad  I think of them sitting there in the dark and cold while the shop is shut  Rolling Eyes

I really am ever so grateful to you all you know. Mr A only works in a small office and so raffling him there wouldn't have made very much. I wouldn't have been able to raffle him where I work.

I thought about a raffle on line, but it would have been a gamble with regard to take up so this seemed the best way to me, knowing how popular Binty's bears are here.

I'm thrilled to bits with the bids so far. He's beautifully made and absolutely gorgeous.

Binty, I am imagining all your bears behaving like the toys in the Velux advert Laughing

Please don't mind me bumping this once again, just to remind you that the auction closes on Sunday.

I'm really really grateful to those of you who have bid so far, and am overwhelmed by your generosity.

The leading bid of £30:00 is with Seahorse. Claire, thank you - and I think you have a potential bargain on your hands. I can't get over the shop taking £20 of the profit every time they sell a Binty Bear  Shocked  so can only imagine what they retail them for.

Thank you once agin to Ali for her very generous donation of Happy the bear.
