Well, it took a little longer than I expected, but it (she?) is here! The huge box was left at a neighbour's yesterday and I picked it up last night. I've opened the box and had a look but have not had time yet to get it out and assemble everything. I may have time on Thursday
The neighbour said "that's a large box?" when I went to fetch it, and then "is it fragile?"
so I said - "it's a spinning wheel actually". I don't think she had expected that! She didn't know what to say...
I'll post some photos at the weekend when I've got it all set up and am trying her out.

I had a few problems with Rose at first, as a small component which was essential for the wheel to spin was broken on arrival, and P&M Woolcraft were away on holiday for the week. I was a bit stressed to say the least!
With Braveheart's help the wheel was dismantled and we changed the broken part for an identical whole one (there is one each side of the wheel), and he then araldited the broken one (which was in 6 pieces) together so I could put it back and use the wheel. Phew!
You might notice a bit of a spinning corner starting up there in the living room
After that I was practising and using samples from my spinning class. Last week I felt confident enough to spin the second half of my Water Lily fibre on the wheel, so I did, and here it is:

Ooooh very beautiful yarn and wheel!! It's a shame the wheel was damaged when it arrived but I'm glad you've sorted it and I hope you can get a spare replacement part from P & M.
It's a very nice little corner that _________________ Ali xxx |

Lovely spinning - you're doing really well. Lovely wheel (of course!). I just ordered the lace kit for mine. _________________ Sharon |

Thank you! I'm very pleased with her
One day I'll be able to spin fine enough to make the lace kit worth while...
