We had a shuffle round of our bedrooms at the end of last year & I'm working my way through some bits & pieces for DDs new bedroom
The curtains were done first & I spent a good few nights making triangles for the pelmet (they're lined with blackout lining)
The bunting was appliqued onto M&S "value" bedding - duvet cover, pillowcase and valance.
I made her a new nightie in similar colours just to complete the set!
I think she looks pleased!!

Beautiful bedroom you DD has Would never have thought to buy a plain cover and applique it to my own design, off to have a think, wee spare room could do with a makeover
