It's a start of a new year and I've been doing some refining of the forum in terms of adding a couple of new areas. But there are areas on the forum that we used in the past but are now no longer valid such as the Sockamonth Challenge forums in 2007 and 2008.

I intend to clear up the old posts from these forums but have one or two suggestions on how to do this from an admin point of view, and I'd like your votes on which you'd prefer.

We could either:

a) delete them altogether

b) move all the monthly 'draw' threads into one area so that you see the finished items but not all the comments from everyone

c) Keep everything!

d) Any other suggestions?

I'll leave the poll open for seven days from today; if you could use your vote to let me know how you feel that would be fab  - thanks!

Debs xx

I've already voted but just wanted to add... whatever is easiest really, and thank you for doing it - if we could hang on to the bits with advice in (like purls of wisdom, knit and knatter, spinning etc) that would be good as I do search back through them in times of need.

Sorry I should have made the poll question clearer!!

Many of our forums are already 'pruned' in that any posts that are over 28 days (I think) old without new posts are automatically deleted by the system. I was thinking about tidying up the forums like the Sockamonth forums and the Round Robin Exchange forum that are no longer active and could be disposed of to keep the forum neat and tidy.
