Apart from my Finishalong WIPs, I'd like to knit more sweaters than last year, I'd like to do some more blankets when I've finished my Babette blanket, I'd like to knit and crochet some lace shawls and I'd like to make lots of socks. Oh and of course my nativity.
I just live in a fantasy world really *sigh* _________________

Been thinking, and decided that I will join as well sounds like fun and I could do with the stash busting as well, don't think I will manage to make overly big items either really

Well my first item of 2009 is finished! I actually finished it the day before yesterday but haven't taken a photo yet.
It's a beanie hat for a friend to go with her diamond handwarmers and i'm seeing her on Friday so I'd better take a photo quickly!! _________________ Melody's blog

I think I might drop out actually - I was only joining for the button and I don't want to feel pressurised to keep finishing stuff (which I'm starting to feel) esp when I only knit garments for me and a couple of pairs of socks. Half the fun of knitting for me is just playing around with yarn and trying things out not necessarily finishing and having knitting 'targets' reminds me too much of being at work Knitting for me is about relaxation not a challenge
We're all different I suppose  _________________ Ali xxx |

Don't worry about it Ali! I'm usually the first to say "no deadlines" as like you it reminds me too much of work! However this year I have the time to spend on more knitting and I'm enjoying making and finishing things. If I felt pressurised I'd stop too. I also was surprised that I'd managed 21 FOs last year despit thinking I'd had a rubbish year knitting-wise, so that inspires me for this year _________________

I'll need all your knitting planning for the week, for every WIP, in your folder by Tuesday evening or else OfKnit will find out about it. And don't forget to include your Success Criteria, resources, etc.
Our hobby is meant to be relaxing and fun Ali not a challenge that gets you stressed, so there's no pressure on you to continue hon {{{hugs}}}
Of course, I'll need your button back..... _________________ Melody's blog
