I'm still doing my Babette blanket, albeit slowly. Here's a photo of how it looks so far. I'm about half way through section 9, with autumn leaves colours. Only section 10 to go. I'm not quite so confident I'll get it all done by the end of the year though...but I will finish, I'm quite determined. And I've loved doing it.

I've finally given in and started blocking squares and will begin assembling the blanket. That's partly to increase motivation and partly because I'm losing the plot with all the wretched squares LOL. You can really see the difference between the unblcked and the blocked in terms of size and shape.

How's everyone else getting along with the QAL? Or any other Babettes in progress for that matter

You've got some lovely colour combinations there - can't wait to see it sewn up!

I'm about as far as you are, but I've been sewing it up as I go along.
and here it is in action


I'm planning on adding another section 10 to the other side to make it bigger and I have a free-form twist to add when I get there, but it's been lovely to use it as a WIP!!

Lovely, both absolutely lovely.
I really must do some more of mine  Embarassed  I've been sewing mine together as I go too, if I didn't I can imagine it staying as a pile of squares for evermore
