so far all systems go, I have spoken to my mum who will look after the kids for a few hours in the morning here before Mersh wakes up. He has not been sick yet just a squiffy tummy so I think regardless of how they are feeling I am on my way. Laughing

I told them that I had to miss the NEC trade show in feb due to illness and I have been looking forward to this for months and I really deserve to go and have a day off.

Well...what a wonderful day. The shop is gorgeous..jam packed full with lovely yarns..Rowan.. lana Grossa..RYC..Twilleys...Debbie Bliss..Colinette...loads!!! The tuition was super..with two tutors for the 6 of us!!! Really patient, clear and supportive approach...a lot of time in preparation had gone into it all. We got goody bags with hook...5 balls of D Bliss Cotton Angora .....bliss Smile ...and the food!!!...proper coffee on tap all day..gorgeous cakes...really tasty buffet lunch. I can HIGHLY recommend this shop and it's crochet course. Thanks for a fabulous day.

We had a good time too...with Debs and Chrissy from here...taking photos was NOT easy...Debs hides under tables...I kid you not!!

I had such a fantastic day today, I learnt all I wanted to and am 4 granny squares into making a blanket.
the goody bag was great as was the 10% off that we got off at the till, dinner was great, and the tuition was really clear, they had a lot of patience with us, took it at our time and didn't loose their patience when I couldn't work out how to double crochet, lol

here is Melody, littleberry and Ani

here is Murdo

and here are both melody and Murdo proving that they would never buy anything

I was very restrained and only bought another 7 balls of the angora cotton to make a nice blanket with
