I have seen everyones lists and i feel so pants lol. I have only one thing on my list and i am even falling behind with it.
I am making a voyager scarf for my sister in law. I have even chosen the small size to make it a little more achievable.
The pattern is mostly 60st per row with 10 rows per repeat. 1 repeat is 5 cms so i need to do at least 25 repeats for a decent length scarf. I have done 3 lol. Daniel seems to know just when i am going to pick up the needles.
I am off to do a few rows while he's sleeping. If i do 7 rows a day i should have it finished by thingmas eve. Wish me luck.

Not much on my list either - did have the intention of knitting Cranfords for the kids teachers but dont think that is going to happen. Do want to try and knit a short sleeve top for my Mum - not yet started though! _________________ Cazzie |

Don't put so much pressure on yourself luv, it'll make it feel more like a chore and not the pleasurable HOBBY that it is

I feel better now knowing i just have to do 7 rows a day. Done 3 rows today so far Danny was a good boy and selpt long enough to have brunch and do the knitting.
I was going to make his teacher a scarf but as i really don't like her i'm not going to bother. _________________

well i think it is cool that any one ever makes anything for thingmas pressies...i was put off when i did it one year..spent ages choosing patterns and designing things specially for the recipients...have i ever seen them wearing the beautifully knitted items??? no...in fact one "friend" was just plain rude about her gift...............so willow be proud that you are doing something so lovely and thoughtful......
same for all of you thingmas crafters......i on the other hand will choose my friends more wisely _________________

I havent done many knitted gifts - my Mum appreciates them - and I did knit some fingerless mitts for a teacher last year and I did see her wearing them
I havent been brave enough to knit for others!
A couple of work colleagues did ask me to knit for them - but I dont really have enough time. _________________ Cazzie |

Willow I only have one thing on my list too and I don't think it will be finished in time!!!
I rarely knit for other people because I've found that they just dont' appreciate it
