I've already got a pair of socks done and cast on some fingerless gloves. That's it for my Christmas knitting this year.
I had planned, and started on, a cardigan for my mother, but I've lost my confidence about whether she'd like the style and whether it would suit her or fit her so I've stopped work on it. I don't want her to have something that she hates or feels obliged to wear when I'm around so I don't think I can go down the surprise route on something like that. I'll need to talk to her and let her decide about patterns and yarn etc and I won't see her for another week or so. So, it might happen in a mad rush up to Christmas or, more likely, I'll just make the cardigan for myself _________________

I've not even looked at mine. I have loads of plans and have been so snowed under with everything, hoping that things will settle down but I can't see it some how just yet.
Just hoping that i will have enough time to knit my dad a new hat and a pair of aran socks for Christmas, and some hand warmers for my gran, not going to bother with anything else on my list, trying to buy a few hand made WAHM bits each week for presents instead

I haven't even thought about Christmas
And for so many reasons, I can't summon up the least bit of enthusiasm either. Not just for Christmas knitting, but for everything that goes with it.
Which is so unlike me
All I really want is to find a little corner and hide in it. _________________

Aw Joy {{{{{hugs}}}}} I felt similar a few christmasses ago and so we took the kids to the coast on christmas day (made turkey and stuffing sarnies to eat on the beach) It was freezing but we ran from one end of the beach to the other!!!
I have to say it was a good day and we all felt better for just doing something different.
Onto C knitting...I don't actually make set gifts for people but rather make scarves, mitts and hats (the one size fits all variety ) and usually get a fair things made to just give to people (whom i've usually forgotten) and emergency gifts/thankyous. _________________

Thank you Linz.
I'm alright as long as I don't think about everything at once. I had a bad day yesterday, today is a bit better
And I've finished my scarf and decided to gift it for Thingmas, so I've made a start now _________________
