Well so much for that  Sad   I arrived at 10.05 a.m. (after an hour's drive) only to be told that the workshop had been cancelled because Debbie Abrahams was ill and I should have had a phone call/message informing me of this.  Obviously I hadn't  Rolling Eyes

However, on the plus side I did get 20% off any purchases as an apology for the inconvenience, so I spent a little more than I intended to to make up for the disappointment.   Cool

First of all, some Manos silk blend to make Hibiscus -

Next, some Mirasol Hacho to make Hawaii -

A ball of Sublime extra fine merino wool DK to finish these Corazon mittens for a Christmas present -

And finally some extra patterns, needle tips, etc. -

So not a wasted journey after all.

Wink

Well 20% isn't to be sniffed at I guess. Hope they give you a discount on re-booking it too!!

Lovely buys though.  I really love the colour of the Manos.

Some lovely things there , it would have been a shame to let that discount go to waste. Will you get to go on the workshop on another date too.

They will be re-scheduling on another date but I'll have to re-book - I'll be getting a refund for today's workshop.

Oh how disappointing ygymraes - I know you will be able to do it another time, but even so what a shame.

Thank you Jobo, yes it's not that far away, though I've never been there - but I'll definitely look into it
