I know it doesnt match the theme but I have done autumn for my September square.



Sorry for the poor picture quality but it gives you the idea - its supposed to be the leaves turning from green to gold (iyswim)

it is beautiful ali ....wasnt the theme something to do with late sun...........well your square does fit cos of the colours of the leaves .......

Thats a lovely square, sums up september perfectly, looking forward to seeing the whole quilt. If you are stuck for may have you thought about a maypole.
