|
|
These were finished last month but I didn't have a photo:
Bedsocks for my 5 year old nephew. Stockinette Triangles pattern from one of the Charlene Schurch books, knitted cuff down two at a time in James C. Brett Pure Merino.
A pair for his 10 year old sister:
Open Cable with Twisted Rib again by Charlene Schurch.
These are now nearly at the toe & then I've got another pair to make for the middle child.
I'm racing to get them done as I can't give bedsocks to two siblings & not the third!

It's quite easy once you get over the fear. Just split your yarn into two balls & keep each one in a zip lock bag to stop them getting tangled up. I separate the socks when doing the heel & then put them back on the same needles do continue.
I use 60cm circs. At least this way I don't suffer from SSS _________________ Cheers

I love the pink ones.
I plan on trying 2 at once next year once all the christmas knitting is done...also to do more patterned socks. _________________ http://traceyscrafts.blogspot.com

I might add doing two socks at once to my resolution list.

It's not hard you've just got to make sure that you don't get tangled up but a zip lock bag or food bags with clips on works very well. Once I've done one sock I want to move on & try another pattern so this way I don't suffer from SSS
