yarn forwardgot the new issue yesterday and only just had a chance to look through it.
i love the cabled coat but i don't think i'll ever afford the 44 balls of wool needed for it - very nice though! i like the purple cardi but i think i'd make it up without the fabric border (cos i can't sew!)

Yes, I picked a copy up in town yesterday.
There is a nice piece about MSF and p/hop written by n , and another beautiful shawl by Anni.

I quite liked it and loved Anni's shawl.
My mil and fil have subbed it for Christmas and this was my first one.

Buggrit! I was in town today and what with getting all shopping-rageous with everybody else in Middlesbrough I forgot to go and look in WH Smith's for this.
That't what I get for being intolerant of others

so is this the January issue  I bought that in Smith's at least a fortnight ago, it has the green Winter Blossom shawl by Anni? That one? Or is it the February issue?

Hurrah, one of the little independent newsagents near me had this in already! So I have a copy  Love Anni's shawl, and the Madison Avenue scarf. And I like the look of the gloves that Anni has in the next issue, so I guess I really ought to think about subscribing

Thank you to everyone who liked my 'SnowQueen' Shawl. thats my favorite shawl so far. It came out huge when I blocked it. I really struggled to send it off and when I saw it on display at Ally Pally I nearly ran off with it.LOL. I've got the gloves and possibly another pattern in the next issue and got another one too that I've sent off to them but don't know which issue it'll be in and working on yet anotehr one now, the one I'm working on now is a garment - not saying any more than that. The yarn came yesterday so it's mad knitting time now.

Thank you Glynis. I've been AWOL for a few weeks. Been busy finishing more designs for Yarn Forward. Anotehr lace piece in the new issue out this week or next then a couple of garments to come after that. And I've done some writing too.....
