Yarn at last!!!Well, I finally managed to produce some yarn today which I'm pleased with. I carded this from the fleece this afternoon and had a 2 hour spinning session this evening. It actually looks like yarn (well I think so!!) instead of stringy twisty stuff. Here's a couple of photos. More on my new blog if you're interested in seeing what the fleece looked like beforehand.
This spinning lark is actually encouraging me to blog more.

it's a lot easier doing it in the evening without two "helpers" hanging off your arms and legs.

Both look fantastic. I'm getting more and more tempted to give spinning a go, but not sure where I will find the time

thanks. I don't think I'll ply it, as the colours would be lost then, and I like knitting with singles anyway

It's lovely CJ - you have a natural talent.
Now I'm pleased I've been to look at your blog, because when you say fleece I'm imagining sheepskin rug and I'm thinking you've either dyed that very quickly or they have colourful sheep on Anglesey
