WideacreJust started reading this book by Philippa Gregory. I really think she is my favourite author now.
Its turning out to be a brilliant book - set in the 18th century - all lord and lady of the manor stuff, with a sexy gamekeeper thrown in - murder, lust, intrigue - its fab - I love it !!!! 
Can't wait to get my hands on the other two - there are 3 in the set

Ah..... I really really really didn't get on with this trilogy. I've read all of her other books and have enjoyed them immensely - but not these

Its weird isnt it? I've tried 4 times to read The Virgins Lover - and given up!! I like the other Tudor ones though - and The Little House was excellent.

I've read reviews of this one on Amazon and really didn't fancy it because of one of the themes And I didn't like The Wise Woman - too creepy But I LOVE her historical ones.
