Who would have thunk it!My friend Yvonne says I can't call this a square - she UNDID my first effort because it really was a circle , but here it is my first crocheted granny "square" - it's a bit uneven but who cares, I don't!
I nearly hit her at four o'clock this morning she's as patient as I am when it comes to teaching skills but actually I could kiss her 'cos I've been doubling and trebling and I've never done it before and I'm dead chuffed !

YAY! Well done Joy
As long as the shapes all fit together it doesn't matter if they are "perfect" - i couldn't count how many errors i make in a blankie but i think it just all adds to the charm

It's BfF Berlaine in the Narval colour. Thanks everyone it feels absurd to be so chuffed with something so small - but I am!

That looks really good Joy, and you should be chuffed with it. I am getting more and more tempted to pick a hook up and have a go. I can do chain stitch (which I guess is a start)
