This is a daft question - has anyone bought any of this yarn from a shop recently? I have two types of this yarn in my stash - both mercerised but one has more sheen to it than the other and one is more matt. Can anyone tell me which is the most recent one? I think it's the one with more sheen but don't know for sure!

I knitted Helena using it back in August. I bought it in my friend's LYS and the one with the sheen is definitely the most recent. All the stock she had was gleaming!! Smile

Well good news folks!! I popped into K2Tog yesterday as I was up visiting mum and dad and the current Supreme DK is just like the Supreme DK that I have. It IS shiny but isn't as shiny as Patons cotton DK and it has the slightly more matt appearance which I was looking for. Unfortunately they didn't have enough of shade 1890, Toasted Almond, though, so the search is still on for six balls Sad
