Vogue

I've seen that the new vogue/designer knitting is out and available at GK.

Do you have this in stock yet Gill?? If you have I'll wait and order from you rather than GK (your service is better Wink )

Me neither. There's a stunning dress it in - you need to be very thin to wear it tho so not for me  Wink - and I think lots of little things like scarves and socks Cool

I've got some of the druid mitts from last year otn, only done just past the cuff of one mitt though Laughing
They do tend to have a variety of large and small projects don't they Smile

Yes I think they are better than Interweave in that way Razz

It's lovely, but going fast!! I'm also taking pics of some more Anne and that seems to go as quickly as I can get it on the site too

Gill what shade is the Schaefer Anne Shoulder Scarf knitted in?? It's lovely Razz
Gill

All of the Anne skeins are one off's rather than named colourways. It is a lovely shade in the picture, but it's a case of choosing one that comes closest. I'll have a quick look to see if any are similar and let you know.

I see!!! Thank you!!

Gill I too would like a copy of Vogue and would do the same as Terri Smile
Gill

Well my copies of Vogue arrived today, but any spares I did have were quickly taken up by new subscriptions that have come in over the last few days!

I'm trying to get hold of more, but do have Summer Interweave just one day after it's publication date in the US which is a minor miracle.

Sorry for any disappointment with not having enough Vogue mags right now, only priority has to go to pre-paid subs...
gilraen

No problem Gill I understand Smile
terri

Awww, thats ok Gill! I'll order one from GK, just to make sure I get one.
Good news about the summer IW though!!!! Very Happy

Why have Vogue changed the name to designer knitting? I understand that they're selling the mag as Designer KNiting in Europe and it's still Vogue Knitting in the US.
Gill

There have apparently been 'issues' with the Vogue branding outside of the US. Before it changed to Designer Knitting, it was VK over here. I don't know any more than that Anni, but these things are usually pretty complex and so long as it's the same inside, I don't really mind what it's called! Very Happy

Thanks Gill. when I bought my first Designer KNitting I recognised the 'look' of the mag but it took me a while to work out what it was. Has the US Vogue Knitting and the Designer Knitting got exactly the same content then? I initially thought it was a completely new mag.
Gill

Hi Anni

The only difference is the cover!
