trouble posting to forum fri 20.07.07

Hi - not sure where to post this so hope it's ok here.

I've been having trouble posting to the forum this morning. When I press 'Submit' it comes back with something like 'no post specified'. And I have to re type the post over and over until it eventually 'posts' it.

It may be just my internet connection jumping up and down but was wondering if anybody else had trouble....

Thanks..Bernie

I get a similar error when I open a thread and don't have a subject in the subject box.... but other than that..... dunno

Could the weather be affecting your router if you have wireless internet? The weather affects ours to the point of distraction some days.

I have that problem from time to time, but in my case it's always because my wireless connection has dropped and I haven't noticed before I press Submit Rolling Eyes

I have that same thing with the weather interfering with the wireless and it drives me mad, mucks up my mobile signal no end too! Evil or Very Mad

I never considered that the weather would interfere with it. I guess now that I think about it, it's just a 'radio' signal afterall. Smile

My wireless signal drops at certain times of the day, for me it's usually teatime, evening sometimes and always about 3am so I wondered if this could be due to usage increase at those times. I was also told that a mobile landline telephone will also knock the signal out plus I think there's umpteen other things that also interfere, breathing near mine seems to do it too !! When the signal drops I don't always notice and I'm pressing buttons like mad, I quite often copy my post as I'm compiling it and that way if the signal drops or cuts out I don't have to re-do the whole thing again, if that makes sense Smile
