I've started mine but hit a problem already!
On row 30 you have to:
"knit 2nd stich on right needle in front of work (without slipping it off the right needle) knit 1st stich on right needle,
slip both knitted stiches off right needle"
i no understandy!
my right needle has the stitches i've already worked on it yes? So am i turning and reknitting them? Please 'elp me!

I don't get that either
Her email is at bottom of pattern...might be worth a quick email...she is lovely and I'm sure she would help!

In which case i'd be doing it to the stitches on my left needle and not my right though?
Perhaps i will have to mail her *is scared*

She is nice...go for it (then tell me the answer!!!!!)

ah I see the right needle (didn't actually read that bit - sorry)...I think it's a misprint
If you re-knitted the stitches on the right needle like you would do on the left...I think it's gives youa little bobble....is this for the fish eye?
I'm talking tosh as I don't have the pattern infront of me but I think i've done this stitch before.

After looking at the pattern...it definately is a twisted stitch but ask her when you email her if she knits the 'continental' way.

Having looked at the pictures of her blanket, she hasn't got eyes on the fish, it appears to be the gills or maybe a fin and it looks like it's twisted stitches sooooooooo i am just going to go with that and apply the twisted stitches to the stitches on my left needle and not my right and see how it comes out.

Errrrrrrrrm... i found another little bit
When you do the increases you have to k2 before the first one and k2 after the second one or the edgings don't line up properly and the number of knit stitches in the middle is wrong. It took me a while to figure out why i was knitting 8 and not 6 but i got there in the end
I've done the first lot of twisted stitches, and it worked perfectly

Anyone do me a favour...I'm trying to enlarge Milles chart so I/Pirates can tick each box as we do it BUT my office prog wont let ne reguister andis giving limited functionality. Could someone save large version and mail to me at my email?

I can't find any other pattern other than the pdf that i have in which the chart is verrrrry small. I have had to resort to writing the first half of the fish out cos i found it harder to follow than the second half, go figure!
I'll have a fiddle with it and see what i can come up with for ya tho

OK, i have just the chart saved as a .jpg, i really hope Mille doesn't mind me doing this
I don't have your e-mail address Jackie and i'm not comfortable posting it to a public place so if i PM you my e-mail address could you mail me and i'll send it to you?
Have you installed the Paint Shop Pro yet? If you have then i can tell you an easy way of enlarging it to fit on a sheet of A4 If you haven't then i don't have a clue!
Did you ever get your picture saving problem fixed btw?

Hey ladies! Thanks for the excitement about the fish and the feedback on the pattern! I will fix it over the weekend, edit out the errors and try to get a bigger chart for you! If you have any other comments or difficulties on it please let me know! I'm not an experienced pattern-writer... Fun that you like my version of the fish, though, I did spend quite a bit of time figuring out how I wanted them, and I'm happy to share Good luck fish-knitting! I'll try and get some fishknitting done myself...!

Hi Mille
I'm loving the hexagons AND the fish and have both on the go at the moment
I've only managed two fish so far though as i need to concentrate to follow the chart cos i am rubbish at memorising patterns
Thankyou for updating the chart, i'll print one off right away
