Tension help pleaseOk so because I normally do toys Im not used to the issue of tension but I think I need to
The pattern said 25 stitch over 4 inches on 3.75mm.
I get 23 stitch over 4 inches on 3.75mm so my silly question for the day is ............
What do I have to do? do I need to use a smaller needle? what size - 3.25mm or 3mm? or have I got this totally wrong and do I need a bigger needles?

This is turning into a PG Tips advert....do you know the piano's on my foot? No but if you hum it i'll play along
Binty, I sometimes used to forget whether you go up a size or down a size but if you imagine (or even go get a real piece of yarn) and wrap it around a needle...it goes round more times on a small needle =more stitches and less times on a big needle = less stitches. Now I remember which way to go!!!
