Sublime

I know it's not a new yarn, and I've been fondling it for ages, but I just started knitting with it today. And YUMMY. It's so soft and lovely - it's the baby Cashmere/Merino/Silk. I'm making a swatch at the moment (being a good girl for once!) before I make the Rosie Posie Beanie from the new baby book for my own Rosie Posie girl. Smile Then I like the look of the elf-y cardigan and the little smock dress.

I haven't used the baby one but currently using Sublime Angora Merino DK and its wonderful stuff, the patterns are really well written too. Very Happy

Ditto what Catknit said. I've got ome of the other dk's to try too, they feel lovely Very Happy

I've used the cashmere/merino/silk aran and the extra fine merino dk and both were gorgeous to knit with and look gorgeous when knitted up. So far they wash well too, although my garments have only been washed twice so far - it's been too warm for jumpers!

I have one of their pattern books as well and keep reading over the patterns because they're so well written. There are times that I like to be spoonfed with a knitting pattern, instead of having to work out the reverse shapings myself Laughing

Oh yes - its lovely isnt it - I have used the merino/silk DK and I have some of the merino angora (thanks to Jo who pointed me in the direction of the german ebay seller Laughing ) but I am ashamed to say it is still languishing in the wardrobe waiting to be knitted into ---- something! Cool

I agree about the pattern books too - they are so clear and concise - more than any other pattern book I have come across.

The designs are all really wearable and stylish too IMO Very Happy

Anna - have you washed by hand or in the machine?
I'm really not a great fan of handwashing (although I will where absolutely necessary), and my machine has a wool cycle and a handwash cycle. I've done a swatch which I intend to stick through the handwash cycle next time I run it, but I wondered what other people's experiences were.
Anna

I have a handwash cycle on my machine, which I use all the time with no problems. My handknits would be rarely worn if I had to proper handwash all the time!!
