Stylecraft Luxury Pure MerinoI bought a ball of this last year and am currently using it to knit a square for 'The Knitter's' magazine charity appeal. It is lovely, soft and springy and I think it would make a good sub for Rowan's Wool Cotton.There are a couple of patterns in the Kim Hargreaves books I would love to knit but would cost about £60 in wool cotton but almost half the price in this. My LYS started stocking this a while ago and it does feel very soft doesn't it  though I thought it looked quite fine - more like a 4 Ply. The colours were lovely!!!

Amazingly my LYS does stock it! The pack I have in stash came from there, gorgeous muted purple. The colour range is really lovely. |
