Today I went to town on my own to do (start and finish) my thingmas shopping.  I didnt quite get it all of it in town but all that is left I have now ordered online so I think ....................... thats me done  Very Happy

And we have been invited to my parents for Christmas - going down on the Sunday before and coming home on boxing day so as for food shopping - I dont need to do anything more than usual  Laughing

Well done, you! I've only got my sister's present to get, but I'm waiting for her to give me some idea of what she wants as if I buy her any old thing she's quite likely to throw it away by the new year  Rolling Eyes  I do like picking up stocking fillers as and when I see them though so I'm never finished with those until the last time I'm at the shops before Christmas (it's December now, we're allowed to say The Word!)

I still have some to get, I have promised DD a mobile phone but she needs to be with me to get it so I get the right model, so thats a Saturday shopping in Inverness, got most of DS2 stuff and DS1 wants a bike but can get that locally. Most of the adult presents are done though.

If I'm honest with you I only have to buy a very few presents.

I buy for OH, DS, DD, my Neice and nephew.

I only do food (posh biscuits) and drink (wine) for any other grown up which I need to buy for so its really easy.

We don't buy many presents either - for the two lads mainly, although I buy for my Mum and Dad too. Last year we bought them a new TV and DVD recorer which they say will last them for many Christmases and birthday to come (they were expensive  Embarassed ) so I give them 'cracker' presents as well.

John and I give each other a set amount of money to spend on what we like (usually yarn for me - and pattern books!) and we buy the boys a large present each and some smaller ones.

This year Matt wants a Nintendo DS and Dan wants a digital camera  Shocked And Lego for them both apparently....  Laughing  Laughing
