Second hand wheels? My friend at work learned to spin while she was in New Zealand. Unfortuantely, she left her spinning wheel there. She's keen to get going again... Has anyone any ideas where she might be able to get a reasonably priced second hand one?
Failing that she's going to get her's sent over from NZ but is worried about how costly that might be. I said I 'know women who will know' and she's happy I post here on her behalf.
Thanks for any help or suggestions

You could try http://www.theloomexchange.co.uk/ as they are generally sold by spinners so they're usually in good condition. Or the local weavers spinners and dyers guild http://www.wsd.org.uk/guilds.htm. Hopefully one of those may be useful?

I got mine on ebay.
also places like winghams and pm woolcraft sometimes have secondhand ones, so it might be worth ringing them.

Thank you both I'll pass on those details and, fingers crossed, she'll find something suitable.
Knew the gang here would come up trumps
