Red and red/ multi sock yarn? After several years of daggers drawn, my daughter & I have declared a truce and are being civil and together for Christmas (with their respective partners)
So......DD! would like some RED/multi knitted socks for Christmas and DD2 is into red/multi also, but would prefer a beret.
Of course, these are the only colours I dont have in my stash so......has anyone seen any sock yarn in these colours which doesnt cost a fortune? I can manage up to £10 for a 100g skein, and it must be washable.
Thanks

I notice that I have typed DD1 as DD! but I am leaving it as I think the exclaimation mark is appropriate LOL

I'd suggest any of the Regia sock yarns. It's got great yardage and a 10 year guarantee and is machine-washable. I think most of the ranges have reds and they all tend to be quite unisex colour-wise.
Gill has a great selection at The Woolly Workshop -Regia yarns. I think most are at £3.75 for a 50g ball, which is well under £10 for a pair, and she's also got 10% off orders until the end of November

Another idea how about Fabel at Scandinavian Knitting, colours 159 or 672 it is still only £2.30 a ball and you need two balls for a pair of socks.
It knits up nicely to
I am really pleased about the truce, good luck over Christmas
